An evening of emotion and spirituality at Sala Baldini

Italian soprano Laura Ansaldi recently captivated audiences in Rome with her concert project The Trinity of Sound, presented by the Tota Pulchra Association, the cultural association of the Vatican, and supported by Kicco Music.

The performance took place at the historic Sala Baldini and featured acclaimed Ukrainian pianist Alexey Botvinov and esteemed Italian flutist Marco Baragli. Together, the artists offered a refined musical experience that intertwined Baroque, Romantic, and contemporary works, uniting the expressive forces of voice, piano, and flute.

The evening also included visual contributions by Franco-Swiss painter Véronique Gray and Italian painter Conchita De Palma, whose artworks complemented the symbolic and spiritual nature of the music.

Distinguished guests included Monseigneur Jean-Marie Gervais, President of the Tota Pulchra, as well as representatives from various embassies and members of the international cultural community. Among them was Maestro Carlo Donadio, Artistic Director of the Rome Opera House, who attended with his wife and later remarked that “Laura Ansaldi deserves all the success that comes to her.”

Reflecting on the concert, Ansaldi shared:

“I felt the spiritual importance of this project. The energy in the room was wonderful — people were so warm and expressive. I am deeply grateful to have supported the Tota Pulchra’s mission through this concert.”

Upcoming Engagements

Following the success in Rome, Mrs. Ansaldi is traveling to her hometown Serravalle-Scrivia for a performance on November 8th during the traditional Saint Martin Concert.

Later in the month, on November 28th, she will perform in Blatten, in a charity event organized by Fabian Furrer, with whom she has collaborated on several previous benefit concerts. The performance will support efforts to rebuild the village that was severely damaged by an avalanche earlier this year.

In December, she will appear in Biel at Les Combles de l’Ancienne Couronne for a charity concert in collaboration with the NGO Hearts e.V., dedicated to rebuilding schools for children in South Africa.
